Elite presents a special ride into Colorado!

Taking only twenty participants, preferred to use your own bike! This ride is ALL inclusive, food, chase truck, guides, ect. We will travel in groups of SIX only NO DUST NO WAITING FOR ANYONE!!! Outside your group! Skill level must be Intermediate to Expert, and you must be able to ride one hundred miles per day. The group will be separated according to ability. This YOUR chance to meet some NEW riding buddies!

Elite just acquired permits for about fifteen hundred new miles of new trails. Included: old mine roads (some totally overgrown), a bunch of single track, and some of the most picturesque routes in southern Utah and the Colorado Rockies! We can ride all summer in the mountains, and dip back down to town to sleep at night in comfort.

This special ride is planned for the second week of September (8,9&10th.). It will prove to be a real memory maker. The cost per person will be $1577.40 including Tax. Bring your own bike you save $375.00 and pay $1202.40. This includes lodging for four nights, the chase truck, guides, all meals, and all the usual Elite stuff. All you need to do is get to Moab. We take care of all the planning! There has been so much rain on the mountain so far this spring that we can't even get there to take current pictures of the routes! This spring rain will make for a beautiful green summer.

  • We leave Moab the morning of the eighth, go up into the La Sal National forest, and ride some of our private single track. Then meet the sag wagon for lunch. After lunch we head on over Carpenter ridge and into Naturita for the night. There are some spectacular views from Carpenter that over look Paradox valley. Next, we ride down an old wagon road that was used by the pioneers to get off Carpenter ridge to get down into Unaweep Canyon. After crossing Unaweep Canyon we take the Paradox trail into Naturita for the night.

  • In the morning we hop up on to the Uncomprege Plateau. Once on top we get to ride some of the neatest single line in the country and explore the Colorado Plateau Mining country. We finish at Gateway Colorado. Gateway Canyons resort is a five Star deal and you will really like the accommodations.

  • On day three we head up John Brown Canyon and run through an old mining area. This stuff is in the middle of nowhere, and it's just like exploring the world for the first time. Then we get into some state land in the trees, comprised of a bunch of old logging skids and hunting trails that we have put together. These trails keep you wondering where in the heck you are! These routes are way off the beaten path. We finish off the day by either going over Polar Mesa, and down Onion Creek or, going over Geyser pass and down the Sand Flats road to the Slick rock trail.

  • As usual, we will have the bus and enclosed trailer following us, so you will not need to carry anything but your hydration pack and camera. Don't worry about riding with strangers! If your buddies won't come along, they just loose out! We will separate the skill levels and not put ANY rider somewhere he doesn't want to be. We will split the group to give EVERYONE the ride that they are paying for.
